"Owl" the same? Or not . . . Stamp Out Blog Hop for PROJECT CURE!!

WHOOOOO??? Stamp Out!!  WHOOOO??  Project C.U.R.E!!  Stamp Out Stamp Theft is having our first event!!! We're raising money for Project Cure while having fun proving that even when using the same THEME -- original artists will have unique take on an image.  As the founder of Stamp Out, it's been my goal to help both crafters and would-be artists understand a little bit about the sometimes confusing issue of copyright.  This particular hop will hopefully be a good illustration of the fact that while an artist's original drawing on a theme is copyright protected and may NOT be copied or used as reference -- the theme itself is free for anyone to explore.

So -- the artists participating in the "Owl the Same . . . Or Not" hop have drawn a new image specifically for this hop -- using the identical theme " “a big owl and a little owl perched on a fence on a chilly day.”  A "fence" wasn't really working for my vision, so I pulled in tight and made one "branch" that could be a tree, or part of a fence.

For two days, EACH owl stamp along the hop is just $1 and all the money from these sales will go to Project C.U.R.E.

Please make sure to check out my shop and purchase this cuddly pair of owls for only $1!!  I'll be putting all the money raised by people purchasing my stamp over the next two days into our Donation Page here at Project Cure.   If you don't want to purchase this image or don't "do" digis, please consider a donation anyway and help us help Project C.U.R.E send medical supplies and equipment to developing countries around the world.

You should have hopped from sweet LORI's blog to mine -- and WHOOOO is next?  It's the amazing JAK HEATH at Just Inklined!!

And, in case you didn't start at the beginning, the full "Owl the Same . . . or Not" hop.
